ABC inspiration award is a perfect opportunity to celebrate & recognize the best of the best –People and team that have lived our values and have demonstrated excellence within the organization. These awards also facilitate integration and alignment of all our employees around the ABC vision and Leadership behaviours. This platform promotes learning and sharing of best practices and initiatives across the businesses which clearly indicates to me the power of One ABC platform that this award encourages. |

About ABC Inspiration Awards
ABC inspiration award is an exclusive platform to recognize and reward actions, ideas and behaviours of individuals or team who have made significant contribution in accelerating One ABC’s journey to be a Leader and Role Model in a Broad based and integrated financial services business.
ABC inspiration awards was constituted in 2009 as a platform to start a company-wide recognition program, one that applauds & celebrate the pursuit of individual & team excellence across our diverse businesses. Since then, this award has been held annually with different inspiring themes that reiterates the focus of our Group. This year marks the 16th edition of this ABC inspiration awards.
ABC inspiration award is a perfect opportunity to celebrate & recognize the best of the best –People and team that have lived our values and have demonstrated excellence within the organization. These awards also facilitate integration and alignment of all our employees around the ABC vision and Leadership behaviours. It covers all levels – from young promising star to leadership, from individual to team, from initiative to best branch etc. What makes the concept unique is its inclusive nature through unique and distinct 15 award categories cutting across length & breadth of Organization. These are Leadership Award, Role Model Award, Functional Excellence Individual Award, Emerging Leader Award, Promising Star Award, Customer Centricity Individual Award, One ABC Champion Award, PIFA Champion Award, Fast Starter Award, Functional Excellence Team Award, Innovation & Project Excellence Team Award, Outstanding Branch Award, Customer Centricity Initiatives Award, One ABC Initiatives Award, PIFA –Cross Sell Initiatives Awards.
At ABC, we have designed well-structured award nomination evaluation screening process which comprises three-tier governance: Business level evaluation, internal jury evaluation & finally external jury evaluation process. The winners are finally selected by a jury mainly consisting of eminent members from external world and within Aditya Birla Group. We believe that the rigor that we adopt in selecting the final winners also strengthens the desired leadership and performance culture across the business units.
Finally comes award celebration event-ABC Day. The event typically spread over 2 days and held each year in the month of July.
Glittering venues, world-renowned speakers, star-studded acts, awe-inspiring entertainment shows -- these form the backdrop to a spectacle that forms the heart of the ABC’s recognition initiative, a glorious gesture of appreciation for outstanding performance at the workplace. The ABC Day also feature a keynote address by our ABC CEO setting the direction for ABC for the future, sessions with the Business CEOs and influential speakers from external industry, and much more. The event also witnesses unsurpassed showmanship of our employees through inspiring and entertaining performance.
ABC Day is a celebration of the best of the best -- of people, ideas, and achievements; an accolade to hard work, passion, and commitment; a fulsome and heartfelt appreciation of how the Aditya Birla Capital is powered by the dedication of its employees, teams, and businesses.
ABC Day also salutes veterans of the Group who have dedicated years of service through Long Service Award. There are special awards for outstanding individuals who are value Torchbearers & inspire others by breaking the boundaries personally as well as professionally. Thus, ABC Awards are designed to go far beyond performance and recognize the contributions to the ethos of the Group’s culture.
ABC Day not only serves an opportunity for hundreds of employees from across Aditya Birla Capital companies to stand face to face with ABC CEO to receive recognition of their efforts and achievements but also provide a platform to come together to meet, network and find the inspiration to achieve ever greater results.
